Courses are specially integrated to allow thorough exploration of each design concept. Form and functionality aspects are studied within the Studio Design Courses. Simultaneously, virtual 3D models of interiors and furniture will be created in the computer classes to further examine the visual aspects and presentation qualities of the scheme. The Interior Design school courses offer instruction in the most prevalently used programs used in the professional world today. AutoCAD, 3d Studio Max, Vray, and Adobe. The Florence Institute also offers short summer courses in Furniture Design. The short courses teache furniture design skills together with a general overview of furniture history. The program is designed for students with a strong interest in Italian furniture design, interior design and industrial design. This course is excellent for students of all levels.
